Katerchen
Hi there! Might be a little bit OT but i suck at photography... otherwise i would have posted this in the gallery section. Just want to know your thoughts as Rolie-Rep-Experts on these 2 little babies A GMT II and a SUB Jubilee Let me know... George
HighDef
I have not seen a genuine GMT II and modern sub on jubilee bracelet. I always like to see my reps look like the genuine look. For me it does not look correct if you use a non standard bracelet on these pieces . But in the end, it is your choice. I have seen people using leather strap on thier GMT II and black Sub. just my .
docblackrock
What 'jubilee'? Both pics (usual ETA decent reps) show the standard oyster fliplock bracelet. Hold on, I think he means 'anniversary' since the LV = 50th anniversary Sub.

Johnkaz
I sometimes use a black leather deployment on my black sub. It gives a completely different look. Cheers Johnkaz.

watcher71
GMTII's originally came on jubilee...and they look much nicer that way IMO.
gander
GMTII's originally came on jubilee...and they look much nicer that way IMO. If this is true it was only for a couple of years at most as they were shown on oysters in early 1990's UK catalogs with the jubilee as an option. migiandone
I think the bezel of the GMT is incorrect, the 6 and 18 show a bad position of color change, the hole on 6 is almost filled of red, the originally one is not like this, the hole on 6 is exacly centered between red/black on original, normaly many reps I have seen got this flaw, but this one is the wrost ever seen. gander
The jubilee remains an option today on the GMT II and was original on the GMT going back to the mid to early 60s. The GMT was available from the factory with a jubilee from around 1970. Before that it was supplied on the oyster. Katerchen
What 'jubilee'? Both pics (usual ETA decent reps) show the standard oyster fliplock bracelet. Hold on, I think he means 'anniversary' since the LV = 50th anniversary Sub. Yup sorry thats what i meant... The Dealer is from France and i got little bit confused with the translation anniversary... jubilee All i can say about his source and about his watches is that they were assembled in EU except of braceletts on some watches he can source all parts EU made... for ex. some Dials made in Belgium, cases etc. ... He claims to have better quality (especially the mov) than asia I buyed a VC Overseas from him with ETA 2892-2 and it runs and keeps time very well. I compared it to another asian model the finish is very well, all screws on bracelet easily replaceable none of them stuck. Engravings on back as on gen not like on most asian ones. I can tell that because a short time ago i went to a jeweller who also sells VC to look for another watch in his shop-window, he noticed the Overseas Model on my wrist and held it in his hands while i was puttin on an Audemars Piguet RO and he didnt asked or remark anything about if this watch is real I know him very well because hes got his insurances runing over our company and we know each other personally so i dont think if he (as a VC concessionaire!) didnt mention anything so it must be very well done... My Dealer in France claims to have similar quality above all his watches he could source because he doesnt have asian suppliers. I was interessted of your opinions because im no expert especially concernig Rolex... He does no I-net business because he experienced some bad things... maybe he wasnt careful enough. If anybody is interessted in "better pictures" or other models drop me a line. What do you mean with the bezel at 6 aint that accurate?
