importr Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 You might have to do some detective work to find out what movement it is based on. Maybe a Modified ETA? You should then be able to find the stem. Now, All Oris need to do is supply the Crown - they must still make a Crown to suit??
azerbyjam Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Is this a rep or a gen? If its a gen it uses a bog standard ETA 2836-2 (I have this watch) and I can't believe your watchsmith can't source a stem for it, Cousins in the UK have them or Ofrei if your in CONUS. If its a rep then its a different story, you'll need to find out what movement is in it.

Thanks az, the watch is a gen, I will let him know what movement it is although I am sure he has worked this out. I wonder what the problem is :S
