As for the question of money, I would indeed pay up the difference if it was really worth it. I would rather though get-by with the cheaper version if it's reliable enough, and buy 2 different watches for the same amount.....

My 21j Noobmariner is about to have its first birthday: It's running fine. So well, in fact, that I ordered a Noobmariner LV.

Yeah, two watches ... I can't disagree.

I have many reps with the 21j Asian movement and never had a problem. But, a few in this forum have. There is no way to tell if you will be unlucky or not but it does not keep us all from collectively buying hundreds of watches each year. Go for it.

Trusty has one with 2824-2 movement. Will it have the same issue as 2836 (as reported by r11co - beat TOO SMOOTHLY compared to the gen) ??

What are other issues with this rep. I read that the movement should be Silver in color. Is that correct?

The watch I am looking at is Trusty-Seamaster GMT . What do you guys think of it?
