deemaster Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 I'm currently juggling in my head and considering the Aquaracer Day/Date. Not sure if I want blue or the brushed silver dial. Anyway, has anyone compared the watch to a gen? I mix my gens and reps (god forbid I die... nobody will know what's real and what's not). Anyway, what's your "microscopic detail opinion" of the watch? Is everything tight like the bezel? I have a Breitling Navitimer World which is super close to the gen except for the date wheel and the fact that the bezel is about .025mm loose. Tiny but it will make a slight rattle if I shake my wrist just right... anyway, it's those little things I'm interested in. Has anyone noted anything with the Day/Date Aquaracer ? He got the rep to beat around and keep the genuine in like new condition. He cries that he got the gen. The rep is so damn close and well built that you can't call out this one. It's funny, I was in an AD yesterday looking to buy the gen of this but I couldn't bring myself to do it. The rep is almost exactly the same.
