Does anyone know if the gen bracelet from the Aquaracer chrono will fit the rep? I've got one I'm looking at selling so wondering if it's worth listing on here for members before going to 'the bay'...

Managed to find myself a bargain brand new bracelet for my aquaracer, does anyone know if it will fit without any problems? I'm kinda assuming it will but just curious if anyone knows for sure before a buy it?

I highly recommend getting one, you won't be diappointed. As for difference with dials, the main difference is the placement of 'schaffhausen'. On the rep is is further left than on the gen. See.... Gen

It's funny, I was in an AD yesterday looking to buy the gen of this but I couldn't bring myself to do it. The rep is almost exactly the same. In fact, the AR on mine was actually BETTER than the rep lol

You can get them on ebay but I don't know how good they are. Oh yeah, I have a silix dial for anyone that wants to do the splice thing too lol

I'm pretty sure I've seen somewhere ( I think it was Pug) that the pearl is part of the bezel, not the insert and they can't be fitted, only the insert can be used....

If you get a gen bezel you know it's not going to fit the UPO don't you? You can use the insert but the bezel itself cant be installed. As for other mods well, it depends on how much you want to spend really. You can get gen dials, crowns, crystal etc etc if you want to make a hommage piece. Swapping or splicing the dial might br a good one to do cause the Josh rep has the incorrect 'feet' on the omega logo. Silix's model has the correct logo but there are other issues with her dial. You could get the dial from her and transplant it onto yours if you like.

He does still sell the dial only. I ordered 1 yesterday, $50 shipped. Quite expensive considering I'm just going to use the logo only but the dial is what you look at so want it to be right. I know there are other minor flaws with the dial but they are ok to me.

I'm doing the same thing myself although I have all the gen parts sorted. Now just have to buy the base model. Is it better to go to Josh or Andrew and spend $270 or will going to silix and spending $190 give me the same result? I'll pay the extra if it is a better product but bear in mind I'll have gen dial, hands, bezel (well insert), I'll get the crystal done by k222 etc. I'm only really wanting to use the case itself and the movement really. Go to Josh or go to Silix? I've heard silix has a better dial so I could sell that I guess...

Well being down here in New Zealand, I really couldn't care less who wins. My own personal opinion though, well alot of American atitudes are still in the dark ages in some respects. I doubt very much that Americans are ready for either a coloured president or a woman president. For this reason, who-ever wins, Clinton or Obama will only have just over 50% of the vote of their party. It's fair to say that a fair chunk of the opposing votes will be totally against a woman president (if Obama loses) or a coloured president (if Hilary loses). While some of these will vote for the winning candidate, I think it's also realistic that the disgruntled voters will decide that even if he is in the wrong party, it's better to have a white, male president and vote for McCain. But then, what do I know, I'm in NZ??!!

If you're after already modded models you're only options would be DSN or TWP. I think you can get 'ultimate' versions from some of the dealers but you'd still need to get some mods done to them. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the 'for sale' section and jump on 1 when a modded pam comes up. Only problem there is that they are only usually around for a very short time before they are snapped up so you need to be really quick!!
