Size? I don't know. I've since been told that I probably wont be able to use the proper clasp because the strap I've put on is too thick.

Hi Guys, I've changed to a 24mm leather strap on my new GTXL but needing some help to swap the clasp over. Is it possible to do this? I've seen it done on the hirst straps so hoping it'll work for this one.

Definately go for non AMG. In saying that though, send it off to k222 for the double AR and get a lello dw. Those are a must. After that, it looks very close to gen. The only give aways are the hands are shorter than the gen (no-one will pick that up on the wrist) and the 'CO' engraved on the back should be 'Co'. Apart from that, no-one will ever know.

So The Zigmeister will relume this model? I spoke to vac and he said he wouldn't do this model so i assumed none of the modders would touch this model. Hmmmmmmm..... if I'm getting everything else done I guess it would make sence to get this done as well so when I finally have it in my hot little hands, it's about as good as you can get barring buying the real thing. Any idea on how much the relume would be?

I'm the poor unfortunate that is the proud owner of this beauty. Damn!! It's gives you a terrible sinking feeling when your new watch turns up and there's problems with it which this had a few of. To be fair though, I contacted the with the problems and he was going to ship out a replacement to me as soon as I supplied delivery numbers from the returning watch k222 has which he doesn't have to do. To date I've only had 1 other problem with a watch I've bought (which was an IWC as well) which was a faulty strap and the dealer sent out a replacement strap to me straight away. It is disappointing when there's problems but these are replicas we're talking about here so there are bound to be some problems along the way. As for this one, I've asked k222 if he can get the faults repaired as it will probably end up cheaper not to metion the fact it will save another 2 weeks in waiting time to see my new purchase. When it's completed (ar and dw mods) this will be another 'very close to gen' looking rep for my collection so any issues prior to me getting it will all be forgotten.

I've seen the black and that's spot on and I assume the white must be the same. The blue is darker than gen though.

Put it this way, my 3719 with double ar I ordered from Josh is being sent directly to k222 for him to do his magic...

I'm actually doing exactly that except mine is a 3719. I bought it and got it sent direct from the dealer to Jakub (k222) who is going to do both the dw & the ar (He did my ingy and it's unreal!!) which is $110USD. From there, he's arranging to get vac relume it and then finally, it'll be coming to me. I'm really keen to get it NOW but I'm sure it's gonna be worth the wait.....

Well, since my last post this morning, I've touched base with the guy and he's willing to meet at an AD to prove the authenticity prior to handing over the cash. At $2200USD it is cheap but I've seen this model retailing for $2850 so it is cheap but not amazingly cheap. I'll check it out and see...

Well that's the thing. He say around 30 trades to his name but they are all him buying goods (mainly model trains), no selling at all. He is in a different city so meeting him at an AD is out of the question and he won't get it checked for authenticity as he says that the paperwork proves it's legit. I have asked if I cxn use safetrader (a form of paypal) which gives me up to 2 days with the product before the money has to be released however he hasn't gotten back to me on that yet.

Just after some feedback on this Rolex dj that is for sale on a auction site here in New Zealand. Firstly, heres' the pics.... Now the guy says this is brand new and he received it as a gift from his last employer in the middle east. He is wanting $2900NZD (about $2170USD) for it. He says he doesn't have anything to prove the authenticity as it has the papers with it. Would you say this is a REALLY good deal or another scammer?
