Navitimer slide rule useable?

Hey all,

I've been doing some reading and noted that the latest Navitimer replicas have the slide ruler slightly out of alignment? Is this correct? If so, is the slide rule still useable or does it render it completely useless and inaccurate?

Even aligned the slide rule is not exactly accurate, unless you carry a 4x loupe with you at all times. The misaligned version will be just that more out of whack.

It's out far enough that it's annoying to me. I do use the slide rule- not often, but often enough to notice. Grumble grumble.
