watch is fast

How hard is it to adjust a watch for it to keep time properly? Is it something that a noob can do or is it just better to bring the watch to a watch maker?

The reason i ask is because one of my reps is running fast but it only cost me 15$ so Im not too sure if i want to pay for a fix if its gonna cost me as much as the whole watch LOL

Open the case back and nudge the litttle needle to the minus. Be very careful.

if it's running nuts like 1 hour a day.. would that be more than regulating.. like a broken escape wheel or such ??
