Doesn't seem like this should be "rare." Maybe on the bay, but I imagine buying brand new at an AD would get you the same thing, unless they all take the watch out of the shipping material.

interesting auction -- as they say, probably the only place you can buy a modern daytona sealed in the box from the factory. given these have historically been difficult to get at ADs, might not be a bad option for a watch that would clearly be BNIB...

Wow, thats what i call 100% gen and new. I feel like buying this and putting it on safe for ever,ever,ever,ever and ever....so my grandgrand son can open it and wear it or sell it for 500k$++++
