Chronus
I may be even tempted if it stays at this price... but it's an Omega 8 days movement Cal.59-8D. Perhaps someone can gift it to The Zigmeister as he's off the boards, he's the one most likely to really appreciate it I think. LordRasta
Is it a pocket watch movement?
Chronus
Is it a pocket watch movement? That's my guess, looks like it requires a key to wind up on the back... or perhaps it's a wall clock ? I'm not sure from the ad.. but there are lots of pictures. Guest avitt
At 60.5mm in diameter, there aren't too many wristwatch options for that one. Looks like it comes from a ship's clock.
freddy333
Interesting, but I have wall clocks that are smaller than that. Of course, I live under a microscope.......well it feels that way sometimes.

_brian_
I may be even tempted if it stays at this price... but it's an Omega 8 days movement Cal.59-8D. There are affordable watches from Eberhard and Epos which have 8 days power reserve after winding. IWC has such a modell too. And of course there is the new Lange 31 days power reserve... Interesting movements...
