Without knowing the replica business, I placed an order at ireplica-com. This was the worst step I could make. The shipping was slow (8 weeks) and finally I got something what is far behing my expectations. now I have this watch, but I do not like it. The chrono functions are not working and the back of the watch is different from the gen. Please have look. What can I do? Can I buy a new movment or I should purchase a new watch from a trusted supplier?

Welcome to the jungle (we've got fun and games....) sorry to hear that your first purchase didn't quite go to plan. If you're happy with the majority of the watch, then a new movement and caseback might well make it a very nice project watch. Of course, you could always just buy a whole new watch and be done with

If you really don't like the watch, I'd be happy to give it a good home

Welcome to the club!

Sorry to hear your first experience with reps is not a good one. I advice you to take your time to study the information on this forum extensively, so your next buy is a better one. Mind this is the rep game, so even within this forum opinions on the different community dealrs may vary. That's why we always say 'choose your dealr first, then the rep you wanna buy'.

Chances are that the dimensions of the case of your rep are not standard and that other movements won't fit. I've kept my first Canal Street j*nk piece of sh*t to remind me where I came from...

Where can I purchase case back and movement, do you know anybody who sells such parts?

I think there is nothing you can do.

Firstly, the dial cannot be used with the A7750. Because the subdials spacing are out

Secondly, The inner case may not be able to house the thickness of A7750.

Thirdly, case diameter maybe different so even if you get the movt sits in but may not be able to close it with the new caseback.

My 2 cents. I think it will be safer to buy from members or dealers here.

Keep up, getting a bad watch is sort of an initiatiory rite in the rep world. :)

And that watch even is not that bad -- depending on how much you paid for it.

I agree, it might even make for a project start.

But I think that as a newcomer you'd better not engage yourself in a project as your first experience (again, depending on how much you paid for it).

I would say that, if you paid less than $250, you'd better keep it as a lesson learnt and a source for parts, and you go and get a decent out-of-the-box rep from any dealer -- oops: "collector" -- here.

Welcome aboard, best wishes on your purchase(s).

Thank you very much for your kind words. It helped me a lot. I have decided to buy a new PAM 253. I will let you know about that as well. But at last I send you pictures about the inside of my rep. Interesting.
