w2w Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 The one thing that lets the Carlos Coste down is the sub standard movement. Can you stick a better quality one in, bearing in mind the difference in location of the day/date and chrono buttons/crown?
Seadweller4000 Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Eta 2836 is for a three handed watch.
takashi Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Not possible on Chronograph model. You need ETA7750 for this watch (which costs many times more expensive than ETA2836-2).

w2w Posted June 12, 2008 Author Report Posted June 12, 2008 Yes it will fit Thanks, that's handy to know. I really like this rep, but I can't put up with the crap movement inside it at the moment. It keeps running fast and the only way to slow it down to normal is by running it with the chrono going..And it near enough ticks. Ugly, Ugly looking chrono hand 'sweep' What would a ball park figure be for a new asia val 7750 [or preferably the Swiss ETA but they are out everywhere] and someone ITK to fit it?
owdeguy Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 I'm supposed to be doing one soon, I'll let you know when its done...
takashi Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 Movement can be found at 300-400USD each (ETA7750). Asian 7750 hi beat will cost you less and it's definitely better than the low beat movement.
