sssurfer
Just my little experience: I had great results from bleaching brown straps, but I have been completely unable to bleach black straps (Don's and Hirsch's) so far. Black straps seemed to have sort of a rubber/gum coating that did not get its color modified by bleaching until it rather dissolved. I had to throw away the Hirsh strap. Don's is still usable, but honestly uglier than before bleaching.
