JohnG
I've got a rep masterpiece from ruby. Will the GEN ETA 2836-2 from Ofrei fit? I don't know much about swapping movements but if the watch has an Asian 21J right now, then you may have a problem with the hands - and may have to source a set for the ETA. If the watch came with a fake ETA - I am not sure. I am sure others will know.
jdavis
John G is correct. We will need to know what movement came in your watch. If it is an ETA 2836 there is no problem at all and it is a simple exchange. If it is an ETA 2824, the 2836 might be too thick for the case. If it is an Asian DG2813, your dial will not fit the ETA unless you remove the "feet" and attach it with dial dots. As John G stated, you must replace the hands with the correct sizes for the new ETA.

dabom
Does someone mind PMing me to let me know who is Ruby and where I can find her stuff? I only really know dealers from a year ago. It seems a lot of Ruby's stuff have fake ETAs, but nonetheless I wouldn't mind perusing her catalogue. Thanks.
Guest carlsbadrolex
If it has an Asian 2836-2 in it now, the Swiss eta 2836-2 will be a direct swap. But I would verify that the movement you have is in fact an A2836-2.
