I managed to source a couple of new swiss eta 7750's

I just found two brand new swiss eta 7750's for sale at a local watch repair shop in my town.

I am only going to buy one so if anyone wants the other one just PM me and i'll give you the name and number of the shop that has them. They are in the US and cost $850 ea. which i think is a steal. If i had the money i would by both of them and sell one but i can just scrape enough for just one so i thought i would pass on the info.............Cheers, Wan

$850 for an ETA 7750? I've picked some up for far less as well as a couple donor watches with them in it for less than half of this. Sure you don't mean an ETA 7753? That's about what I'd expect one of those to be going for.

( sometimes a bit cheaper, when he has had a wine or beer or three. )

Even so what you are paying is around double what you can find them for on the bay.

I paid $300 not 3 months ago for one.

I agree. This ETA2893 costs far less than the ETA7750.

Hmm I could maybe see two of these 2893 movements if they were new in he packaging (though I wouldn't pay that). Hope that you didn't pay $850 for one. Both my 2893's came in donor watches for about $300 or so each.
