R7000 Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 I'm looking at a gen Revue Thommen 7750 chrono that is 44mm without crown. I don't have anything this big. Looking for opinions, is 44mm too big for a chrono? The ref no: is 17060.6537 Thanks Tom

Tom Hawkes Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 arnold is doing 60 mm.. but then again.. arnold is also too big..
b16a2 Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 In this day and age I would say 44mm is the standard size for a watch now.
fakemaster Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 44mm is about the biggestyou should go for a chrono. With the pushers it brings it out to around 47mm. One you get bigger than that it looks silly unless you are a really big guy. I am about to do a review on a Super Avenger 49mm. With the puchers it is sitting at nearly 52mm.
Noel Fleischer Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 i've been reluctant to join the oversize craze. i'm a big rollie fan and only about 5'6'' -5'7''. i just got a Hublot BB and i must say i love it. at 44 its taken me a little while to get used to it. compared to a DJ @ 36mm its huge.
Dario33 Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 Nah - not too big. I've been wearing a 47mm all summer.
