stilty
I'm a stickler for the details. I tend to notice the small things. It really bugs my wife when we watch TV or a movie as I always spot inconsistencies, etc with whatever program we are watching. She keeps telling me I should be a script supervisor. haha. Anyway, enough of my issues! I'm sure that 95% of the population wouldn't give a crap, but to me I needed to find the correct springbars for the 1016. I was using the 2mm submariner springbars, but they stuck out of the lugs. (see pic in my sig) Well, I finally found a set of the proper springbars and they now sit nice and recessed in the lug holes and I think my project is now complete! Oh, and I found this cast iron hand. I figured it would make an interesting watch holder.
drhydro
Man, I love that hand! erm, in a brotherly, platonic way, o'course. And you're right, the bars do make a difference.

Corgi
I'm a stickler for the details. I tend to notice the small things. I'm exactly the same. I learned very early on in the replica game that you have to suspend those thoughts, otherwise you will go bald pulling out your hair and lose your voice screaming whenever you notice a problem with one of your watches.
