I've been wondering if the flaws on Ruby's Rolex Masterpiece can be corrected. First, the brushed finish; can I polish it to a gloss with a dremel or something?

Secondly, the weird end links. Can that be fixed?

Finally, before I start wearing the watch, should I get it serviced?

You will most likely get the same answer you did in the other thread you started!

@loner: I have deleted your other thread, which was posted to "General discussion".

1. That was a wrong subforum for this question.

2. Do not open multiple threads to ask the same thing.

Yes, get it properly serviced.

In most cases, brushed steel can be polished using a dremel & green rouge. You can probably also do it with a Cape Cod cloth (search google), but it would take quite a bit longer. The Masterpiece is not a model that I am very familiar with (I try to keep my distance from that much blatant bling), so I know nothing about the end links on the gen or the rep. Maybe someone else can help you there.

the bracelet is apparently ss plated with white gold, however has a brushed finish. I've seen the threads about polishing, the problem is almost all deal with ss, not plated ss.
