I've got a cal. 1520, but need everything else. So, what would you guys recco for: case-- am thinking MBW 5512 case, but is that right? hands -- where to get? dial -- where to get? case back Thanks for your expert help! Guest carlsbadrolex
Well, Id say you probably have the hardest part to source already! The rest should be an expensive piece of cake!

Guest carlsbadrolex
I am pretty sure you can get the dial and hands from jewelryandwatch.com. I just found a 1520 on WatchNet for $800. Seems like it might be a good deal! What do you think?
vlydog
you can get the dials from places like www.jewelryandwatch.com, although I don't know if they are any good or at all a reliable company... and they look to be overpriced for rep dials... You can get a "T" dial from Eurotimez Also, try Vintage Rolex Forum for Gen parts.

J The MBK case isn't correct, it has no fixed strap bars and the wrong markings, but if that's not that important to you drill the lugholes out and I'm sure some stainless bars could be soldered in place and voila! Dials and hands can be purchased for a 1520 from the usual suspects; Jewelry & Watch, Classic Watch Parts, or ND Trading. IMO I like the NDT 5517 dial the best. Good luck on the project and keep us updated!

tmg
Not really for a "correct" case. AFAIK the MBK 5512/3 is the only case that will fit your gen movement. You can see if Phong at J&W will work you a deal, he often does.
