ok here's MY guilty contribution (I was SO proud back in the day of my $40 purchase) NEXT to it's Noob BIG brother

tick....tick...tick... at least it had a hack signal and an eta quartz movement.

i remember bringing this piece to a seudo watchsmith to get the battery changed out, and the look of disgust on his face upon gazing upon it...those kind of images stay with you forever
