Uhm... I would try with a toothpick drenched in alcohol or acetone and great patience and care not to touch the letters.

I apply a little bit of alcohol on the cotton swab and gently wipe the messy paint out. Not sure if this is the best solution but it works great for me. The "Officine Panerai" paint is still intact and looks perfect. But since different dealers or manufacturers may use different type of ink, you may want to try it out a little bit on other area of the movement that is not visible, like "21 jewel".
