That gen looks strange. Not even sure if it is really gen or not. BTW, check your PM.

I apply a little bit of alcohol on the cotton swab and gently wipe the messy paint out. Not sure if this is the best solution but it works great for me. The "Officine Panerai" paint is still intact and looks perfect. But since different dealers or manufacturers may use different type of ink, you may want to try it out a little bit on other area of the movement that is not visible, like "21 jewel".

I never seen this type of strap before, but it sure looks amazing on your watch. Thanks for sharing rolli ! BTW, isn't the part of strap with buckle suppose to be installed at the top instead of the bottom of the watch?

Already have 111H, now I am looking for nice PAM GMT. I am thinking of 88 (or 89, but like the polished case better). I know that DSN is selling one with larger hands that look closer to gen (but still not that accurate anyway). My questions will be as follow: 1. How good is DSN PAM 88 (or 89) compared to other dealer like Puretime ? Price difference is about $100. And how good is his upgraded hands? Any pictures would be appreciated. 2. How good is the modified GMT 7750 movement? 3. I read in the forum that some PAM 88 's GMT hand is moving in an hour step, while some are moving freely. Which one should I get, and how eaxtly does gen 88 GMT work (freely or 1-hour step)? Thanks guys. If you have photos of PAM 88 or 89 from DSN or any dealers, please share.

Man, I just ordered one from angus less than a week ago. I hope it doesn't have this problem. I will update when I receive mine then. BTW, so what r u planning to do with it? is he willing to refund the watch? and how long did u wait after ordered 'til it arrived? I am really curious for I might end up having the same problem. Another point between these two movements mentioned by Vaccum is that the swiss one will have "swiss" ETA stamp while asian one doesn't have. .

Thanks rckh for very detailed review. It is really helpful for someone like me who is looking for the right place to buy 111H. For you Incabloc, I think it looks different because the movement of your watch in the photo is real swiss 6497 movement (not real panerai movement of course). I borrow this photo from Vaccum, modder from another forum. The left movement is swiss, and the right one is the asian copied 6497. They said, however, the shock in asian one is more accurate to gen than swiss. Also, can u pls tell me how did you get that price, $345? I received email from davidsen and he's offering his 111H ultimate for $360. Anyway, $15 is not much difference.. maybe he raised the price. So my last question before ordering from davidsen are: 1. With this price (assume $360+$15 Xoom), $375, are there better choices out there? 2. Since davisen's PAM is a little bit higher than other dealers'out-of-box, can anybody in comparison between davidsen's and other rep? Any pcooments and photos would be really helpful. I hope I didn't ask too much, just want to educate myself before making decision as well as to make sure I will get the watch that best suite my need and budget (not best PAM of course ). I am really impressed with this community for the help and amazingly quick response. Thx again guy!
