RLudlowe
I was looking at the new U-Boat "Thousands of feet" on Andrew's site Very cool watch - 50mm is really big but if you're actually going to dive I guess big is easier to read - Is it really supposed to say "Mace in Italy" on the back? geo1nah2a
I have tried the gen on.. Very nice watch, and love the version with the red glass (not colored dial..colored sapphire). At 50mm it is impossible for me to wear. The 47mm B&R already too big for most people and that 50mm monster is IMHO too big unless You have the hands of the incredible Hulk On the other hand I might as well get one just to look at
RLudlowe
At 50mm it is impossible for me to wear. My guess is it would look fine over a 9mm wetsuit -
geo1nah2a
9mm wetsuit for the 30m dash in the rain? BTW the latest versions in King's site show the back spelling correctly Made in Italy: red version:
RLudlowe
BTW the latest versions in King's site show the back spelling correctly Made in Italy: I had hoped the days of humorous misspellings on reps was over with - maybe it's just a bad photo on Andrew's site -
fakemaster
I just don't see the fascination with these.
RLudlowe
I just don't see the fascination with these. I feel the same way about PAM and Rolex - they're just plain ugly to me. But hey - to each his own

chrgod
The U-boat is a cool watch, but not exactly my style. I might pick one up just for fun. Anyone knows what the red indicator over the seconds subdial (next to the "2") is for? Is it some sort of "low on power" indicator?
RLudlowe
Anyone knows what the red indicator over the seconds subdial (next to the "2") is for? It's red on all the faces, even the white and yellow ones - so it must indicate something, it's not just a design element.
jonasforsbergf1
Hi Geo1nah2a! I just bought a 46 mm thousands of feet PVD, and Im goning to change the clearglass into a red glass. The red camera-filter-glass cost me 5 dollar.
