Shundi Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 Hey All, I know I've got some pending trades, etc so I'm posting this in public: I've just completed a massive analysis project / some other stuff at work and with our latest favorable (VERY favorable) Q2 report and Q3-4 outlooks, our SR VP has given the department a well-deserved week off. I'll be at my family's lake house on Long Lake in Maine for the next week...I'll have my iPhone/ ThinkPad with me but I won't be online much (waterskiing and fishing to break in the new Oakleys http://oakley.com/pd/5539 in matte black ) Hope everything goes smoothly on the boards (esp. with this stuff over at RWI going on...). Have a great week!

Guest Sql_pl Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Oh God didn't you know Oakleys are for Fratboys only???? :) I just realized I have nice Juliets in my drawer since 1999.... gotta find a way to get prescription lenses to fit them! Wonder if Oakley can sell just lenses?
Shundi Posted August 2, 2008 Author Report Posted August 2, 2008 @ Sql: I know, I know lol. (PS they do sell just the lenses) I wore them for a week and was NOT impressed... went to return them today and got some sass about there being a "smudge" on the lenses (which polishes out, it was from sunscreen). The sales girl said they couldn't take them back even though the smudge polished out "because they initially appeared in less than resellable condition, and we have to go by the first impression" I wiped the smudge off and showed her the pristine lenses and told her that she could take them back as per their 30 day return policy and sell them as new to someone else, or I could call American Express and have them chargeback the merchant and more than likely keep the glasses to sell on eBay. She took them back. I ended up buying a nice pair or Maui Jims and a pair of RayBans. Happy as a clam
