triplehd Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 Just picked up a case used on the "closed" factory Omegas with the correct HE valve placement from back in the day. However, it did not come with the crown (nor the stem). I tried using another crown and stem from a spare Omega that I have, but the crown is way too big to screw down. For those that have the closed factory case, can anyone let me know how big the crown is/measurement? 5.2mm, 5.5mm, 5.7mm ??? Any help is much much appreciated. takashi Posted July 30, 2008 Report Share Posted July 30, 2008 To be on safe side, change both to genuine. On Planet Ocean, I know it for sure that the rep tube can't accept gen crown. I have swapped the crown on SMP Chrono and current SMP model too (but not the closed factory version) so I can't answer your question. Why not just get the gen tube? It costs 6 bucks from ofrei.
