How i miss my frankens.... Heres some from the past...

My only concern is that it does look somewhat like an apple watch....but no where does it say apple and if they power it on, no apple logo. Even the ui is different.

I know this thread is a few months old, but yesterday, i shipped a generic smartwatch (head only) back to a dealer in china using First Class (cheapest). The watch is unbranded - no company logos nothing. Well today looking at the tracking, i received the same status as OP regarding being held bu US custons for further inspection. Im pretty sure since i was shipping to china, that could have set off a red flag? But since the head was shipped by itself again unbranded, no logos, could customs confiscate?

He got banned because he got caught profiting. He came up with a story that his brother used his laptop and it wasn't him. Huge thread on RWI that shows theres a lot of holes in OPs story. Also, basically stated on RWI thats it's Ok to profit. Sorry, your story is BS.

This account regardless if it was you or your brother got caught trying to profit. That's a no no in the rep community. Also, how do we know it was really your brother and not you. Regardless you guys got caught.

Mike - knocking on a door isn't trespassing (not in Illinois). Not going to debate it. My point is that if he had my stuff, I would make the trip to his house. If his mom/dad answered the door, I would have a talk with them. Who know, maybe his mommy would ground the little [censored].

Is this really becoming a conspiracy thread? If a plane didn't hit the pentagon - then why hasn't one conspiracy theorist locate any of the passengers that were listed to be on the plane or confirm if they are even real. As for no planes hitting the tower - i think there were enough civilians on the ground that saw planes hitting the towers. Again, the government released the names of victims that were on both flights. If no planes - then please, locate the passengers. As for hearing bombs that day - yes, when i hear a boom - i too would think its a bomb. Lets face it - who knows what was going on in the buildings at the time. Again, if there were bombs and in this day of whistleblowers, etc - tell me why hasnt anyone come forward or find anyone who planted bombs?

You better run !!!!! Anything from overseas must go through customs. Wait a day and see if it gets updated. If it doesn't wait another day. Sometimes the watches get delivered even before usps updates their site.

Makes you wonder how US based modders get watches from overseas members to work on watches.....

I know that i have seem threads where it took 3 weeks,after being held in customs, to be delivered. How many watches were included?

Rex is a modder on RepGeek. There's also Vac who's on this board as well as Speedy (Repgeek). I highly recommend either of these two modders - cant go wrong.

Hey Marrick - brings back lots of memories....oh how they used to make great Omegas back in the day...never knew, especially when they got the POs corrected, why they never made the closed factory versions once again. I was fortunate to have many of these in my possession one time or another, for now, sadly, they are on other member's wrist. One day, i hope to have some of these back in the collection one day.

Point is, I'm volunteering to help mike out and get members their stuff back. Mike was online earlier, not sure if he read this or not, but if he did - mike pm me or mike on a bike so we can get everyone squared away.

Guys - First, I wouldn't show up to his to door unannounced. My point is that if mike is reading this or if someone talks to mike, have him pm me so I can ship out members stuff. On the other rwg board, some members here knew of a similar issue with another modder named mike. A member there who knew mike was able to send back some of the members (including me )watches and parts.

$18k worth of watches and not one word from mike? Unacceptable. Been involved in this hobby for a very long time and have see. Crap like this previously and can't believe it continues today. Was a good guy and still a good guy are two different things. I have no dealings with mike, but this is total bs. Mike had the fortitude to reply go the other thread asking everyone for his understanding (dentist, a will, etc.). There are no more excuses. If he needs help shipping watches and parts back, f'cj, I'll go over to his house and ship them back myself (based on the op posting his home address, he's a 40 minute drive from me). Mike - pm me and I'll pick up the watches and mail them out. For those who are buddies with him or talk yo him via phone, tell him to pm me.

Guys,we can continue to discuss what Mike should have done until we are blue in the face. I believe we all agree that a simple communication would put many members at ease. Going forward, now that Mike has seen concerns by many on the board, hopefully lessons learned, Mike can improve his communication with members some way some how.

I heard of RWCC - but before my time. I do recall being on TRC as well as the old RWG and even Watchtrader.cc. before all the new boards came about.
