BTW, R has two of these that have now been coated and are on their way back to Hawaii... so in a few short days he'll have the first AR coated GMT IIc mags in his hands. -Chief To Add to that Chief (good to see your forum name back to the latest) ... anyway.. the mag that comes off the GMTIIc rep may be mineral glass.. we are trying to acsertain this .. so when the mags that chief has coming back get here I'll post pics ... this is for the members who are thinking of using the rep mags to send to Chief for AR... I do know that the ones that have been done from the group buy are Sapphire...and the acetone may have made removal with heat faster but after 3 day's the mags were still fastened well to the crystals.. so they were removed with a hobby torch.. (FYI) So if you are considering using the Mag that is on the rep.. up to you .. it just may be mineral glass though.. R Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
