I sent my DEAD.... BSOH on to The Zigmeister for servicing. The eta movement felt like crap out the gate. Out of the box it lasted 6 weeks before it froze up. Of course this was not a 'super rep' but rather just another CN factory piece that cost 250.00USD.

Rob confirmed my feelings saying that none of the eta movement 2824 screws were tight, and that the screws holding the crown had literally fallen out of the housing.

To me it is just another example of the lack of quality control coming out of the CN factories . Albiet a beautiful replica watch. Personally I think the Heritage is one of the most handsome and well made divers on the market today.

Problem is that many of the 'eta' watches that we are purchasing these days still require servicing, or they are bound to fail, eventually.

Quality wise...is there really a difference between an Asian 21j and an eta clone? If both requiring servicing in order to be reliable, why not spend 75.00-100.00 less for a model that offers both?

I feel as though ANY rep watch I order these days needs servicing in order to assure it's longevity. Am I the only one?

Might as well add 150.00USD to the price of any CN watch you plan on purchasing.

My last three reps, EL's 3717, my MBK PPN, and the Heritage, all REQUIRIED servicing. It wasn't something I wanted to do...but rather something I HAD to do.
