SPARKYMARKY
Er my sub second hand at six o clock has fallen off. took it to a local watchmaker who tried putting it back on over the weekend but said the face has come away (or head or something) and becuase it now moves it forces the hand off said it would cost a lot to sort. anyone else had this and got it sorted? andreww
What has likely happened is that one of the "feet" or anchor posts, on the back of the dial has broken off. This causes the movement to pull away from the dial as you pull out the crown. The only way to fix is to remove the dial, and use either two sided tape or glue to secure the dial to the movement.
