Be aware the rubber strap my 187 came with had a 26/24 measurement... so the buckle was only a 24mm. 26mm buckles (non-branded) can be found pretty easily... 26mm branded are quite a bit rarer. This monster would never fit under my sleeve. The strap feels OK to me for now but I know I will at least need a nice vintage leather strap for it. Its all in what you like... mine is on a carmel color with hints of red now... looks great on the range of brown straps... very light to dark brown all look good in my opinion... I tried black on it for a few minutes and decided it wasn't for me. And your correct.. the 127 does go well with a dress shirt / sport coat in a way the 187 never could.
