Chopard gran turismo XL... thinking about getting one! Opinions?

I am thinking about getting the Chopard gran Turismo XL in red gold, black dial combinatioon. Does anyone own one if it already? How about them?

hi, I own the asian 21j version. Its a great watch and is quite a bargain. Check out numerous reviews on this forum. Mine has a very noisy rotor though..

The GT XL is a very good rep for the money, the only problem with it is the noisy rotor and the strap is a dust magnet.

No more than usual, but if I recall correctly the 7750 version has a jerky second hand

It is exactly the same as the gen!

The rotor noise as well as how the hand moves.

Yes, the rubber band IS a dust magnet.

So be diligent to wipe it with a wet cloth often.

I am not sure, but I think the 7750 version's rubber band doesn't have problem with the dust and also has the vanilla scent, like the gen.

The one i saw the other day was very nice white face, ss, jerky seconds hand as i belive the gen has, and a very loud rotor, grease the bearing to quiet it down a bit. Very nice watch

I was thinking about the red gold version with black dial, I ve seen it on andrew`s site. It looks spot on to the gen from the pics on his site...
