caracarnj Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 Hi, Fallen in love with this watch ever since I saw it on Tag Heuer's official website. What Grand Carera is this and where can I get more info of it from? Thank you all!
LordRasta Posted August 23, 2008 Report Posted August 23, 2008 The factories would totally screw that one up. I'd wait for V38.
fakemaster Posted August 24, 2008 Report Posted August 24, 2008 An auto version will be too complicated. I found one of those in quartz and did a review on it. That means the dealers should be popping up with them left and right any day now.

siesta181 Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Looks kinda complicated to be repped accurately... but wat do I know. The factories have come up with some pretty amazing stuff lately.

greg_r Posted August 25, 2008 Report Posted August 25, 2008 Hi, Fallen in love with this watch ever since I saw it on Tag Heuer's official website. What Grand Carera is this and where can I get more info of it from? Thank you all! as others have said, it's available in quartz. Not bad either. If you can handle the idea of a quartz rep go take a look at Lawrence's site - houseofsouvenirs.com
caracarnj Posted August 26, 2008 Author Report Posted August 26, 2008 Like I said. Anyone want to see something.? Let me know I'll do a review. Yes, Master.
dkaoboy Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 An AD told me this watch costs $15K US. Its a manual wind, so not an automatic, but its mechanical. The innovation is that its a mechanical chronograph that can show 1/10s accuracy. Any rep would purely be aesthetics. The 1/10 second accuracy is shown by an inside rotating bezel that I'm still not sure how it works. This is shown on the tag heuer website. As for wearing the watch? Its definitely an attention grabber. But what are you to say when someone says, "Nice watch. what does it do, and why is it so special"? Are you going to flash the quartz movement and show the simple slow tick chronograph and say, this is the the latest and greatest innovation from Tag?
blade007 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Like I said. Anyone want to see something.? Let me know I'll do a review. ooh I am loving th elook of this watch. I think even as a quartz rep its worthy of adorning my wrist. cant wait for your review buddy
