ExtraExtra Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 Went to an airshow last month and lo and behold a Breitling booth at the entrance. I salivate. They had 2 trays of goodies on display. I was sporting my SA and got to try on a few. Picked up some swag and reading materials including this new Bentley model. Check it out.
b16a2 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 I think it looks really nice. As with all Bentley's, it's very 'in your face'. I'm not too keen on the way the strap connects to the lugs, it looks ok when there's a bracelet there, but with the strap on the white on it looks odd to me.
Guest Sql_pl Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 There is something wrong with these subdials... they seem to be too close on a watch that big.... like something is off balance there....
Dutchy Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 There is something wrong with these subdials... they seem to be too close on a watch that big.... like something is off balance there.... My thoughts exactly. Though I like the date window position.
By-Tor Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 This is the 49mm XXL version, right? Well... I think that watch is just too big. Same thing with the SA. I can't seem to connect with watches that big... somehow the aesthetics and symmetry gets completely screwed up on them. I like the smaller Bentley though... very handsome watch. Just a taste thing probably, but 49mm is (imho) simply insane.

The position of the subdials remind me of the Omega UPO chronograph....they're tightly close together. Not exactly sure wha type of movement this is.
pokerpot Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Don't like the text on the rehaut. Other than that those watches are pretty stunning. And I love GMT!
