gplracer Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 How often do you guys clean your metal band? I find I need to remove it from the watch every month or so and put it in the jewelry cleaner. If not when I am outside sweating the dirt from the band comes out and get on my shirt and leaves marks.
freddy333 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 That is alot of cleaning. Even my beater, which I have worn for most of the past year, has only been cleaned a handful of times when I got it greasy or dirty while working with it on. Do you sweat alot or apply some type of lotion on a daily basis? If so, then you just have to clean the bracelet on a regular basis as you are doing. A number of people on TZ swear by 'Scrubbing Bubbles' spray cleaner (available at most supermarkets & home stores). I always clean my steel in an ultrasonic, so I cannot vouch for SB's effectiveness on a metal watch bracelet. But it works pretty well on bathroom sinks & tubs
