I guess I was wondering why Aspire has several new vintage Pam offerings featuring the swan neck regulated 6497/1

What makes you think they're Moljina movements?

They are not.

Not sure if the Russian Moljina in short supply, but I believe Paul is going to put the new movement in every watch he's selling.

Looks that way. He's got a whole page of Pams for $189 with the incorect 6497/1 swan neck movement :blink:

What's incorrect about it?

That is so interesting in terms of movements. I've attempted to replace several of the russian movements in pams with 6497s but found the 6497 to be a bit too thick. If you look at the movement clamps on the pics, you can tell the movement is too thick here also. Anyway, I'm not complaining, that is a great buy for under 200.

it also baffles me why someone would want the new new new decorated swan neck super fat sword with taper movement in a non-display back model other than simply for a movement swap. that would be the only reason i'd go for one of these
