Fish
Hi all, I just saw over at RG that DSN has new H-series dials with good swiss text size and placement and even correct shape of 2 and 6. Has anybody here had one of them in his hands allready? It looked so nice that I instantly had to ask him for the price (still waiting as the mail went out only an hour ago). Opinions on that one? Paneraibob
Thxx did not see this postng there I took the pic from syp and compared it to a original Ok the 2 and the 6 looks better then before but still not perfect The spacing under the 6 is ok But the tipical A is still wrong as before What also is wrong is the spacing between the 1 and the 2 in the 12 Edited September 10, 2008 by Paneraibob
b16a2
The font on the dial looks slightly too thin too? For me the killer is still these crowns. They could perfect the fonts all they want, but that crown is a giveaway straight away.
Paneraibob
What about this dial? I know the angle of the pics sucks but at least teh A looks great and the spacing under the six is great Note: this are no my pics they are from Taeyoung Kim Edited September 10, 2008 by Paneraibob
chad
The one above is pretty rough. Font is wrong as well as the spacing. I would stick to the 112H if you need a sandwich dial. There is something about the H dials(all of them) that just scream fake. I have never understood why people like this rep so much. I got one(111h) from vac modded that had the fonts dyed. (the white fonts on those are really bad looking) I only wore this watch a few days before selling it. Compared to all the other pam reps it just does not hold up. The 112H looks better simply because there is less writing on it to screw up. On the other hand a good 001/111G rep modded is really nice. Dluddy had one at the GTG that I honestly would not be able to tell from a gen unless I had a loupe. Just stay away from the 111h if you are really concerned about accuracy and hunt down something else.

Fish
Wow... It looks great. never seen that spacing under the six. Who is Taeyoung Kim and where can we get it? Just look twice, it could be just the same as the new DSN dial...
chad
How can you possibly say that font on the luminor marina and panerai look great? Wow... It looks great. never seen that spacing under the six. Who is Taeyoung Kim and where can we get it?
PAMman
Just look twice, it could be just the same as the new DSN dial... It's not the same. DSN's has the 'low-bar' A and different 12, 3 etc
Fish
It's not the same. DSN's has the 'low-bar' A and different 12, 3 etc Now that you mentioned it... the 3 and the A are not perfect, but the whole dial looks better than before. I wonder what happened to the korean guy with the other dial version?
sander
How can you possibly say that font on the luminor marina and panerai look great? I was talking about the spacing under the 6. I think that all the other ones are terrible but this one seems to be ok. To be honnest, the spacing might be even too much. You are absolutely right about the font but they all are wrong. archibald
Yet another product as only DSN can make.
mjmurphy926
This is all very interesting to me. I just emailed David last week asking if his h sandwich dials were the same as the standard rep. He told me that if I wasn't happy with the standard rep dial, that I wouldn't be happy with his either. I'd be interested to see what he tells others.
