need help, which tube for 24-603-0?

I'm trying to gather the parts needed for a sapphire crystal explorer, and I'm having a little trouble tracking down which tube goes with the 24-603-0 crown?

Ubi or Stilty? Help!!!!

Thanks for getting back ubi. I remember reading somewhere that when they increased the size of the crown for the datejusts, they re-tooled the new crowns to accept the old tubes in order to save money.

If anyone has any further confirmation on this, please post up!

When they switched to sapphire on the 36mm cases is when they changed the tube sizes. Dunno why, but I suspect you are correct in that they wanted to capitalize on existing stock of tubes

for the 24-603-0, you need a 5.3mm tube. If I remember correctly, part number is 24-5300. You can get some good quality aftermarket from Gary Clark, at clark watch parts on ebay.
