SF Bay Area newbie

Hey all,

After lurking for months I finally decided to jump into the rep world. I'm starting small with Omega Planet Ocean (Asian Auto) from Andrew at TrustyTime. I just received it and I'm pretty impressed with the quality. After reading a lot of posts I was concerned about the internals. While setting the time, the dial felt a little sticky. I'd like to get the watch serviced, oiled, etc.

Are there any good watch smith

Rep's are like Klondike bars. Once you start you can't stop.

I'm down in Gilroy and haven't started looking for a REP friendly service yet. I'm still in acquisition mode here. IF you guys run across somebody please PM me the info and I'll do likewise.

hmm, does rep friendly actually matter? I suppose as long as they know how to service the movement

Welcome to the board, I'm also in the SF bay area, Monterey and San Jose area. No luck yet in finding a rep-friendly watch smith, but as other people said, let me know if anyone finds one!
