Skyland Avenger v2 bezel removal?

OK, so I really like my v2 Skyland but I would like to tighten up the bezel a little like I have done on some of my other watches. I realize the bezel screws don't really do anything but I thought I read somewhere else that somebody totally mangled his bezel trying to pop it off! Has anybody successfully gotten this bezel off without destroying it? If so, what technique should I use as it is impossible to get under the ring with a blade?

Be smart, forget about it. You probably end up destroying or damaging it beyond repair!

The Zigmeister won't even touch these Breitling bezels so that alone should tell you something...
