panera Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 (edited) Look at this smart gut he says that It took 3 yaers to complete it and ''Exactly the same with original 3646'' And more..... http://cgi.ebay.com/Panerai-Rolex-Radiomir...id=p3286.c0.m14 But interesting thing is He sold the same one before for 4500 Usd http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280260523786 Puaaaah Edited October 3, 2008 by panera
rmcsherry Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Not sure how it took 3 years to switch the dials in a WM3646, and I'm not sure exactly how a WM3646 is exactly the same as an original - the case construction is completely different, he's not even bothered to solder the lugs / tube. I know he's a well respected seller, but have you seen the fiddy bezel and crystal for $1950 EACH??!! What a joke.
t Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 this offers suprised me... i know adam-co as a well respected dealer and he sold a lot of gen watches for $20.000 and up! but this offer makes me confuse... it
tech Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 He annoys me with his jackets, crystals, fleece, caps, hats yada yada yada.... He got busted getting the hot watches from the boutiques under different names and then resellling them at stoopid profits for god knows how long....basically he became persona non gratis with OP after they found out....just where did source all those parts over the years....hmmmmmm. Sure, he is a respected dealer 'cause he doesn't cheat anyone and delivers on what he advertises....but since he no longer can get the "goods" like in the past, he is now selling these "one of a kind" homage pieces....mmmmm...aren't they hawt? I'll pass. He's been peddlin' that crystal forever now...
iceberg1459 Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 maybe asking too much but its surely looks awesome, that leather box too
PAMman Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 This is the same guy who sold a number of 'mint' 44mm Panerai 001B, 002C etc at really strong prices. I thought that it was odd that he should find so many similar mint pieces. Then a little 'birdy' was able to tell me that he was one of Jimmy Fu's customers and I understood it then.
Clint Eastwood Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 This case is totaly wrong, lugs are too long, case a little bit too thin, wrong tube and crown, crown tube and lugs not soldered, wrong crystal, wrong hands; 3 years for this ? what a joke ! For 600 usd it can be correct but not for this too high price
