Quarks
This is my newly acquired California Dial 1938A which I picked up brand new in Singapore. About 44mm equiped with Swiss Unitas 6497, 3.5mm domed sapphire glass, 2 x italian calf leather, screwdriver... blah blah blah.... comes in a nice Pre-V wooden box which I thought was very cool. The box somehow influenced me to make this purchase. I just love admiring it, but somehow does not smile back at me on the wrist. But I still love it. Thought I'd share.... chris5264
The 1938a is a great watch, nice choice. It has a nice thick crystal on it. I had one but sold it for some silly reason, enjoy.......
Quarks
Jeez... this one looks too small on my wrist. It is 44mm but looks way smaller. I might just let this one go.... I paid about USD$850 I think.
