DemonSlayer
I was cleaning a DJ case with a ultrasonic cleaner. After it was finished, I took the case out and noticed the bezel was loose, to my touch it came off. I am trying to put it back on, but I'm not having much luck. Are these bezels glued on or are they just a snap fit. I don't see any residue of any glue anywher so I'm assuming they just snap in. If anyone can give me tips on the easiest way to attach these back on, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.
freddy333
The gens are simply pressed on (they are designed to be a snug fit over the sides of the crystal). But I assume your watch is a rep, so it may or may not be fit similarly. Depending on how accurate the case/bezel are, you may be able to press it back on by hand. If not, you will need to use a crystal/caseback press & a pair of die - 1 against the bezel & the other against the bottom of the case - or a rubber-jawed vice (with the same die). DemonSlayer
Thanks Freddy. Yes mine is a rep. I will try the method you outlined above.
ubiquitous
Is the bezel not pressing on over the gasket, or is it too loose? If it's the former, then the press method should fix.
