So here it is next to the 222 that I received from Richard Tracy. I like this 212 in particular because it has the polished pushers. I'm also impressed with how accurate the 222 is to gen. The dial is simply gorgeous. Lume is generous. I just need a thicker crown. I had to take the 222 apart earlier to fix a misaligned power reserve hand and re-align the hour hand so that the date change would occur at 12. Speaking of date, I was surprised to see TWO magnfiying lenses contributing to provide a highly magnified date. One lens is embedded in the date aperture in the dial. And, the other lens is on the crystal. After putting it all together, I had to take it all apart again to remove a speck of dust on the dial.
