  1. these markers...if i see right, every 5th (full 5 min) marker is thicker than 1 minute markers. It may seem uneven because of this?
  2. Let's see... Taikonaut straps are generally quite thin, thinner than let's say DONs, Europellis, BOBs etc. So you will most definitely be able to squeeze the strap through the deployant buckle. If it wont work, remove the pin (basically a strong spring-bar) on the final piece of the deployant buckle (the piece you see when the watch is on your wrist) and place the strap beneath, then redo the pin back into position. If you have a hard time doing this, simply get the strap wet in that region beforehand. I've done this to several straps and the only ones that did not work were the Cordovans (dense leather). As for the strap being to long I would not worry about this. The deployant buckle will take about 5mm of the strap, so a 115/75 strap wears somehow like a 110/75 . Cheers!
  3. Well, I've had nothing but great experience with PT, and since he has had PP chargebacks (well commented here on the board) in the past I can support him. I have a watch coming from him and one more on order. In my eyes PT is a great guy!
  4. Joshua has some with Asia 21J...
  5. Hi guys, I went to check out the IWC agent in my town this morning and got to try-on the Ingenieur. That watch is simple, but truly makes a statement. Can't wait for a good quality rep! I have a IWC catalogue with many pictures of the watch, including drawings with ACTUAL dimensions of certain parts of the watch (dial decoration etc.). Amazing! For those of you that are not familiar with the Ingenieur I am attaching a few pics of the watch:
  6. This is both a question for the experts as well as something for the more ignorant. Have you seen the 44 mm Fiddy wannabe with "[censored]"? I kind of like the watch, although wearing the EL's Ultimate Fiddy often. http://www.bestswiss-watches.com/product_i...roducts_id=1076 What do you say - it's fantasy, right?
  7. In the past I have used "Optical Instrument" as a description for bank payments and PP when it came to watches... maybe just an idea for everyone
  8. Maybe the crown doesn't pull out enough because the crown guard is blocking it. Try to remove the CG (only 2 screws) and try setting the time?
  9. Funny thing, works for me!
  10. Thanks Lovepanerai, I didn't know about the L SWISS MADE L flaw... appreciate it!
  11. Great find! Thanks Mark, I appreciate it
  12. Sure looks like Tantalum more... Yes, please do share with us what Oxyclean is?
  13. Hands down the best rep 188!!!
  14. If River pulls this off and offers it for sale, somebody will be VERY happy:)
  15. Thanks for the update! I may as well go this route for my 090:)
  16. All 111 H are pretty much alike. Except for the presence or lack of AR coating and the type of glass (sapphire or mineral). I also believe that every 111H's dial problem is the font Luminor etc. which is very white instead of cream white. The crown guard itself is more different from the genunine than the crown. It's best that you seek for as many photos as you can find and compare the pieces. If it looks good to you, go for it! If you have doubts, then it's best you don't buy it... It's just a replica!
  17. Thanks for the ahead notice, when I get my 187 I'll be super carefull at inspecting the bezel... I hope you resolve your issue as soon as possible!
  18. Great watches, 222 sure is a beauty on its own
  19. I will tell you if there's AR coating on the sapphire or not... Should be the middle of next week. Stand by
  20. Where, but where?! do you people find these movements?
