TagMatty
Hi Guys, Can anyone in the RWG world tell me why there are two rotor designs for the Carerra? Is one a later design than the other? or is one more preferred than the other? Cheers, V'S Edited October 20, 2008 by TagMatty
anton
The top picture you have is reminiscent of the "Calibre 36" versions. It was updated in the later years (second picture was older models) as the 7750's used in TAGs have been largely undecorated.

OK... yeah i thought it may have just been a case of Tag up grading things. Cheers for your response
deemaster
In fact it's a good way to buy a gen on auction sites. If you're looking for a Carrera Tachy and it has the top photo with the cut rotor... you know you're getting a gen. Well, as of the writing anyway until China updates... anton
When buying a carrera chronograph on the 'net, always check the center of the rotor. A7750's are notorious for having the "sawtooth" bearings whereas the ETA7750's have the side "indents" central on the rotor.
