looking for phototips pics of new watch

I don't have much a camera ( Fuji Finepix A205 eBay 25 buck camera)

and I am not a photographer

I took these today of my new watch

the photos are not bad but something is missing?

Better background? Shadows? less light? I took them on a window sill with natural light

camera on a mini tripod on a timer no flash

Any help would be appreciated...I am trying to learn how to do this properly

They're nice pics. Not much is missing. Daylight is always a good choice.

If you have a Photoshop you might want to try what clicking "autolevels" does. It might improve them.

Keep 'em coming... practice makes perfect!

bill, you are off to a great start! if you really want to have some fun ... get yourself a portable lighting studio. they can be purchased for around $50 and are well worth the money. especially if you plan on shooting more watches etc. i am a total amature when it comes to photography, but with this little box ...
