i will wait for mine to come before buying again and if everything is ok this will become a new fave dealer for me

Worth checking out tonyxkf's CQout shopfront too, as he has some good deals.

I've bought a few watches from jiuli9, though - mostly for family/friends - and haven't had a problem yet :)

OK - the AP skeleton you should know about as I've got the SS version, which I reported on recently. A very nice watch indeed for the money - I'm very pleased with mine.

The SLR is quartz and Lawrence appears to have something that looks better in a 21J

The BR power reserve models look crappy, but the others are tempting. The SOH is basically the same watch as I've just ordered but in a different colour combo - I'll report back when I get mine, but it looks like a lot of watch for not much dough.

The others I don't know much about other than having seen them in the listing :)

The good thing about buying the super cheapos is, they're easy to sell if you don't like them.

The bad thing is, once you have some really good reps, the cheaps look, well, cheap.

that's a good point - easy to sell off once you replace them with the higher end versions

I think it'll be enjoyable to work your way up to the best versions - I have a "best" version and even a gen but I'd like to find some real cheapies for s.hits and giggles

learning experience with little cost - I'm sure there are some great cheapos out there - might need to bump the price up a bit - idk, I'll see

That AP looks hot - link?

Yep, I see you've found the AP. Tempted to pick one up myself - I like the look of the quartz ROO I already have. I'd like an upmarket rep of this watch, but I'm not willing to pay the prices that the current secs@12 models are going for.

can't say I'm crazy for that bulging PAM - that's the fiddy right?

Yes, that's a Fiddy - I know it lacks the elegance of the 44mm PAMs but it's one of those watches that I've wanted ever since I first saw one. At 47mm, though, I'm not sure how much wrist time it's gonna get - it's a tad big for me - so I didn't want to spend a fortune on it. I may upgrade later if I decide I'm comfortable with the size.

Yes, they do - especially when you look closely - although if you're very selective about the cheapies you buy, they can be a lot better than one might expect. It also doesn't change the fact that I enjoy them :)

I wear my higher-quality reps around 70% of the time, but I still enjoy wearing/collecting the cheapies. There's a couple I have that I wouldn't buy again, but most of 'em have been well worth collecting.

go on greg get another and make me feel less of a junkie :bounce:

LOL - I got two on the way already!

Currently trying to resist the black AP posted earlier, a cheap but good-looking BR01 that Tony's listing (I really want a 'best' quality version - must resist the cheapie...) and a Tag SLR at Lawrence's....

Then there's that 'best' PAM113 on a bracelet that Tony has on his web site...

aaaaargh!
