uber2k Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Hi, Im thinking about trying a leather strap with my black BCE. Does anyone know what is the correct strap size??? Thanks.
szvwj Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 The strap width for a BCE is 22mm (at the case).
uber2k Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 Thanks The ones i'm looking at are 22/18, and through some searching here I think i've seen that the genuine straps are 20 at the buckle. So the only difference is that if i ever get a genuine buckle there will be some metal showing, right?
giorgio Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 A 22/18 strap will look rather "wimpy" on the BCE, but if you like it, you can look for an 18mm gen buckle (the chronomats had 20/18 straps)
b16a2 Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Is it a deployment? The deployments are usually 22-18, whereas the tang versions are 22-20

uber2k Posted October 30, 2008 Author Report Posted October 30, 2008 oh damn, most Breitling-style straps are 120/80, I need a 115/75 (or lower)
