I asked if he could remove lint. he asks to see my watch. Says "thats weird, can i remove the bracelet??" i say ok,he removes braclet has his loop out examing the watch. (dial, bracelt, engravings on case) He says man, when i saw the pearl it threw me off cause i thought it might be a replica but after looking at everything else it's a gen. I tell him i bought it used (i did from amember here) he then says previous owner must have replaced bezel. He says he cant work on it becuase its a gen. Next place i go the owner says he doesnt work on them but can send it out. asks if he can see the watch. I hand it over. same thing. BUT!!!! he offers me $3000.00 for it on the spot. JoJo35
Why didn't you just tell the first guy it was a rep so he could fix it for you?
Corgi
Why didn't you just tell the first guy it was a rep so he could fix it for you? Maybe he didn't want to embarrass himself or the man who inspected it?
dieselpower
Love stories like that. We should all take a collective pat on the back. After all if it wasn't for our enthusiasm I don't think reps would be where they are today. Well done everyone
