vmena
At first sight and for a newbe like me, seems very very good... laser etched crown, dial print, date font and window, mag... where is it from?
By-Tor
Very nice indeed. Is this one of the new models where the last link (SEL) is solid?
snow75
@By-Tor, no I inserted true solid 18K gold band with hollow end links
By-Tor
@By-Tor, no I inserted true solid 18K gold band with hollow end links Wow, that's a great upgrade and it sure takes the rep to another level. You might want to tell other members where you sourced the bracelet.
snow75
The tt-band is from ebay. the clasp is from the rep and it's not solid gold, just plated
By-Tor
The tt-band is from ebay. the clasp is from the rep and it's not solid gold, just plated I wouldn't worry about that. The clasp is plated on the genuine as well. The colors and gold tone seem to match surprisingly well, considering the rep has 14K plating (instead of richer 18K tone). I once had a rep of this same watch and wrote a guide for the TT Subs. There seems to be lots of variation in the quality (and durability) of the gold plating, so I always recommend a real gold bracelet upgrade. Good work. PS: You might want to drill lugholes to your watch. It'd make it extremely accurate. Non-SEL versions always had lugholes.
sssurfer
snow, I am a complete ignorant in Ro|ex, but this is one of the most beautiful watches I ever saw. It is making me even consider to enter into the Ro|ex world. Congratulations really!

snow75
I have owned this watch for a two weeks now and never worn it. It gains 1-2 secs per day, I think it's very good. I would appreciate ideas how to upgrade it?
